Senior Flex Developer

Essential Functions:

  • Work closely with other developers, UX designers, product management and other key stakeholders.
  • Help drive innovation of both products and processes.
  • Develop cutting edge features as part of the overall Pivotlink team.
  • Continuously improve our architecture and platform using cutting edge methodologies and technology.

 

Required Skills

  • Deep knowledge and experience with Flex Builder and Actionscript 3.
  • 2 years Flex Builder/Actionscript 3 experience.
  • Experience integrating Flex with Java.
  • Experience with PureMVC, Cairngorm, Mate or similar micro-architecture framework.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with developing N-tiered applications in production internet architectures.
  • Strong experiencing developing complex technical solutions in a service oriented web environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced cross-functional team environment.
  • Ability to handle several projects simultaneously.
  • Must have thorough understanding of and aptitude for all aspects of the development lifecycle using an agile methodology.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Must keep pace with current trends in software development and architectures.
  • Prior Linux/Unix development experience required.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in either Business Analytics application development or SaaS product.
  • Experience with Cloud development patterns and tools.
  • Experience with Spring, Maven, Eclipse, Subversion
  • Knowledge of Perl and C desired.
  • Experience designing and implementing Web Services.
